Meet Winston Little
Breed: Miniature Schnauzer
Barking from: Auckland
What's up dog?
My partner and I both suffer from depression so daily life admin like just getting out of bed can be quite hard for us just depending on what is going on or even the season. Since Winston has come into our lives, he makes getting out of bed so much easier. His presence in our lives just makes us feel so much more fulfilled and has had a great impact on our lives - having something to take care of and force us out of the house has been very positive on us both.
He is the most affectionate little critter. Will follow us around the house, cuddle us and gives us a doting look that honestly feels like he is connecting with my soul.
Winston has the most hilarious quirks - whenever we give him a Whimsee or carrot, he loves to hide these two "treats". Unsure if he is hiding them from himself or for later, but when we give him these particular items, we often find them in the most random places around the house which makes us laugh. Other times he will try hide them under a blanket and just watching him push these treats or blankets around with his face is so cute - he really does try!
I really think he is a baby though, every time I pick him up from day care or even if he needs a bit of attention, he will paw at me and lift his arms signaling he would like a pick up and a cuddle.
He really is the most loyal, caring, loving companion that has made a huge impact on my life for the better. I really did not know the kind of love you could have for a dog until we got Winston.
